SETECH
originated from the machining and engineering operations of Southeastern
Technology, a high-end precision machine shop established
in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in 1982, which primarily served the
Aerospace, Automotive and Medical industries. As a result of the
quality products produced by these operations, Southeastern was
engaged by a new division of GM, Saturn Automotive, to provide integrated
supply services.
The
relationship with General Motors and Saturn expanded significantly
over the years as the result of SETECH's ability to supply specialized
tools and equipment not standard to the automotive manufacturing
process and to improve profitability through the use of alternative
products and processes.
SETECH
is positioned to remain a leader in the integrated supply industry.
